Day 34 and 35

On the Road Again Monday Feb. 28 to get the oil changed at New Smyrna Chrysler Jeep. Now we are ready for another 10,000 miles. That's how often to change oil on a diesel engine. We arrived at Chip and Beth about noon. We had a relaxing day with them. Beth took Ellie over to see the neighbor's 3 horses and pygmy goats. Chip and Phil had many stories and events of their Goodyear days to rehash.

Chip's 1972 Triumph with 3,000 miles.

Time passes quickly when visiting with old friends.

On the Road Again Tuesday March 1 to St. Augustine. This oldest city in the U.S. has so much to see. We paid for our site at Anastasia State Park and headed to town.

Flagler built this tremendous Presbyterian Church in less than one year. Men worked around the clock.

Beautiful stain glass windows throughout the church. Each picture and words is a segment of the Apostles Creed.

Baptismal font solid marble from Italy.

Ponce De Leon was less than five feet in stature.

Original painting was made into a mosaic.

Many Stained glass windows depicting lives of St. Augustine.

Ponce de Leon Hotel built by Flagler. This is the inside courtyard. The full outside would not fit in the camera. The building was the largest hotel

Villa Zorayata, built to be a mini replica of a Greek castle.

Inside the Lightner Museum.

Variety of interesting sights around St. Augustine.
