Fairhope, AL 2/21/2015

On the road again Saturday Feb. 21
Weeks Bay Estuary and Visitors Center
We walked out to the pavilion overlooking Weeks Bay.  Unfortunately we didn't see the Bald Eagle the naturalist said have saw earlier.
But I got a photo of a squirrel about 15 feet up in a tree.
Do you know what this is?  A bat condo.

We could see in from the top, but normally this is nailed shut.  Very thin area for 30-50 bats??!!!!
In the charming city of Fairhope on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay I was tickled to see beautiful spring flowers in bloom.
We watched the Children's Chinese New Year.  And I got some more bead but left most of them in the Visitors Center.
Grandmother clock made by Emperor Clock Company in the Fairhope Museum.
This Grandfather Clock was made in 1919.

Famous Fairhope authors.

Winston Groom wrote Forrest Gump.

Critters made by Sheldon "who didn't make it on Noah's Ark.'

Eastern Art Center

We stayed at Rainbow Plantation Escapees Park, Summerdale.
We did a lot of walking today.  We saw  so many neat things.  We will sleep good.
