Day 24 of our trip to FL and SE

Friday, Feb. 18 and our traveling today is by bike or foot.

Since we are boon docking, not plugged into electricity, Phil ran the generator at 8:10 am (not allowed before 8 am) so we could brew our coffee. We went to four Ranger Programs today. 1st about Crocodiles.

Crocodiles snuggling and soaking in the sun rays. Crocs live in salt water

2nd about tiny things in the water. The Ranger had a microscope so we could see the tiniest of organisms. 3rd had exhibits of the heads of sea mammals, birds and reptiles. 4th about the formation of the Everglades.

It's good to not be driving but to catch our breath.

When coming back to our campsite after one session, there was a hawk on our picnic table. Then it preceded to take roost on our lawn chair. Amazing to see so close.

Phil saw a crocodile along the side of the road as he walked.
