On the road again Friday July 11
Beautiful clear, crisp sunny morning. Visit to Hidden Lake.

2.3 mile (one way) hike to the Russian River Fall.

Zoom lens could barely seen the fish. Lots of them.
I probably took 60 photos to try to get a fish jumping over the falls. They are so fast.
Then to our utter delight Mom and her cub came to get lunch.
Cub wasn't too good at fishing.
Mom had a hard time getting fish too. She got three.
It was surprising that the gulls didn't come eat the fish till the bears were gone and out of sight.
The 2.3 mile hike back was easier to make because we just experienced such a treat. A hike said she'd been coming out to the Falls for 45 years and never saw a bear. We were there at the right time.
The highlight of our trip.
We stayed at Primrose Campground.
