Skilak Wildlife Preserve, 7-10-14

On the road again Thursday July 10

We hiked out to the lake behind the Skilak Wildlife Reserve.

 In the Visitors Center two tangled moose antlers.  They were locked together and died together.  We watched a 55 minute video about bears on Admiralty Island.  Very, very good.

 Tour to the cabin of Andrew Band.

A bit foggy, misty and cloudy.  Looking at the Ranger's favorite spot on the Skilak Drive.

We camped at Hidden Valley Campground.  Rainy and misty all evening.
