Palm Springs & Salton Sea, CA 1/18 & 19/2015

On the road again Sunday Jan. 18.

We went to Mass at St. Theresa's in Palm Springs.

We watched the Packer game at Sports Shack, Cathedral City.  We met a couple from Schofield, WI.  About 20 miles from Phil's hometown.  The Packers were ahead for more than three quarters  but throughout the fourth quarter we were getting more and more nervous.  Alas, the Packers lost.  What a gut wrench.

We drove to Salton Sea and found a very quiet camping area.  We could get the internet but neither of us wanted to read about the game.  Nor did we listen to the post game talk even though we could have on Tune-In radio.

Monday Jan. 19 we decided to stay at this quiet camping area.  So I've been working on the blog.    Chatted with different campers, two couple from CA and another from Newfoundland.

We had a peaceful day and a nice campfire. 

Aha, very relaxing.
